My Bio
My name is Julia Takagi. I'm actually from Germany, my husband is Japanese and we live in Japan since 2005. One of my greatest passions is painting. I had several exhibitions in Germany (Wiesbaden, Hofheim), Japan (Hakodate, Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Kobe) and one in the USA (LaGrange, Georgia). The beautiful nature of Japan inspires me and I paint almost every day.

We had a few heavy afterquakes today up in the north, but since things are getting quiet more and more at the plant, I updated my blog with finally some pictures/photos of our trip to Nagasaki:

Today I also went to my fellow-artist friends in Nishijin and painted with them. It was great to be back at my art and share the latest news and fun with them. Tomorrow will be the last day of school for the kids, so I will be busy a little, but I will enjoy it to have them here. :D
Seeing things going back to normal and having the luxus to switch off the TV and news during most of the day is paradise :aww:
